Thursday gave us a new Apparatjik tweet...

This is probably hardly blog-worthy but the early hours of today brought us a new tweet....

American Apparat-chick, Liz reports that five convicts escaped from a high security prison in Michigan yesterday and one was caught hitch-hiking...

Coldplay are back touring USA again for a few weeks, so was this another Guy tweet..?

They've also been logged in to myspace three days running (13th, 12th, & 11th) which is unprecedented - no obvious changes made, so who knows what they are up to..

It may have been written ten years ago, but 'From Here To Helsinki', the second Terefe/Whitecross offering was only released last month.

The one and only gig in Los Angeles in 1997 also seems like evidence of the bands deep reluctance to appear in public. Nick Whitecross (leadsinger of Kissing The Pink and collaborator with Jem, X-press 2 and A-ha) and Martin Terefe (writer/producer known for his work with KT Tunstall, Ron Sexsmith, Cat Stevens, Jason Mraz and James Morrison) released the orange album in 1996 and the follow up "From Here To Helsinki" is being finally made available ten years later. "From Here To Helsinki" was written in a taxi drivers flat in Prague in the autumn of 1999....Album release date is the 1st of June, be sure not to miss it!"

Just one day after two Apparatjiks catch up in Denmark we get a new tweet...coincidence..?

Last weekend (Sunday 5th July) saw a live blog from Roskilde on coldplay.com, detailing events up to and including Coldplay's headline slot at the Danish festival. One photo in the blog was of particular interest to the Apparatchicks...

The guys are currently on Apparatjik hiatus as they get on with their regular projects, but this site will still aim to capture any snippets of news and information as and when they occur.
