Jonas talked to Planet Sound for itv's Teletext service recently about the new Mew album and dropped this little Apparatjik bombshell.

"We all went ski-ing recently and took some equipment, so we've had fun mixing art and sound with the results. There will be an album and shows one day, when we all have time."

The article itself is tiny and full of information failures (Apparatjik are not a trio, for example!) but ...hey, no-one reads teletext anyway ;)

...Ok so it's an assumption but, surely he's only had time for one Norwegian skiing trip this year....

"I became hypothermic recently when I went skiing in Norway with some friends. I don't remember the experience too well, but apparently I had become delusional and tried walking down a mountain in my sneakers and jeans at minus four degrees Fahrenheit. Pretty stupid."



Clearly, he's recovered okay from this ordeal ... but perhaps they should record somewhere warmer next time.. ;-)
